We recognize the value and crucial importance of early childhood education. Since many preschool programs and providers are not affiliated or located within accredited schools, Crayons partners with 4C for Children and EC Learn to help identify programs that could be included in our programs.
Our partnerships with 4C for Children and EC Learn enable us to better reach early childhood programs and family/home-care providers committed to improving their quality ratings in both Ohio and Northern Kentucky.
Child Care Programs must complete an application and be accepted in order to qualify to shop. To be considered programs must:
Serve primarily preschool-aged children (ages 3-5);
Be located within the 16 counties currently served by Crayons to Computers;
Accept state assistance from families who qualify to help them pay for childcare and serve a majority of children receiving state assistance;
Be in operation for at least 1 year;
Be a Child Care Center or Family Child Care Provider that:
Currently holds a quality rating with Ohio’s Step Up to Quality, Kentucky’s All STARS program, or Indiana’s Paths to QUALITY OR
Is recommended by 4C for Children or EC Learn and actively working toward a quality rating or improving their quality rating.
For preschool program directors, administrators, and owners who are interested in being notified when applications are available in the spring, please fill out the Preschool Program Interest Form at the link below.
