Imagine … you are eight years old. You report to homeroom on your first day of school only to see kids opening their new backpacks full of notebooks, pencils, markers, scissors and crayons—laughing and comparing supplies. You showed up with nothing because your family couldn’t afford school supplies. How would you feel?
That’s why Crayons to Computers is dedicated to providing students the supplies they need to succeed in school, the first step to success in life. It’s so simple, yet so critical. At Crayons to Computers, we believe that education is key to breaking the cycle of poverty.
Organizations can participate in Push 4 Pencils in two ways—monetary donations or conducting a supply drive.
To host a supply drive, please contact Betsy Wilson at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 513-482-3290.

Kenwood Towne Centre, a Brookfield Properties shopping center, is hosting the Crayons to Computers Push 4 Pencils Supply Drive on Saturday, July 13 from 10AM – 2PM. The 2nd Annual “Stuff the Van” event kicks off the back-to-school campaign and all donations will go towards leveling the playing field in the classroom by providing students in need with the tools to succeed in school. Thanks to Florence Mall, a second “Stuff the Van” event has been scheduled for Saturday, July 20 from 10AM – 2PM.
Though all new supplies are helpful and appreciated, the Top 7 items that teachers need most are crayons, dry erase markers, filler paper, glue sticks, notebooks, pencils and pocket folders. At Kenwood, all donations will be accepted at the main entrance next to The Cheesecake Factory between 10AM – 2PM. At Florence, all donations can be dropped off at the Macy’s mall entrance between 10AM – 2PM.
